  • Overview

    The Creative Content and Digital Producer will work directly with Pathways In Education leadership to bring Pathways vision and voice to our community. This position is responsible for strategizing the best content to deliver both inspiration and education to our community on social media platforms, marketing materials and video/photo productions. The ideal candidate is someone who is interested in engaging people online, knows that listening is the first step to good communication, and understands more than just a thing or two about Facebook, Twitter and the blogosphere. As a Creative Content & Digital Producer, he/she will possess a moderate-to-high level of knowledge and skills to manage a large social media account, and/or a few smaller ones simultaneously. He/she will have strong project management, client counselling, people management and business development skills, and possess an interest in the emerging discipline of social media for business.

    Responsibilities

    • Strategize the best content to deliver both inspiration and education to social media communities.
    • Encourage and inspire participation and increased traffic on social media platforms.
    • Stay connected and educated in Social Media trends and means to connect with key audience and online community.
    • Creates excellent graphic design and media that aligns with company branding and aesthetics.
    • Analyzes effectiveness of social media campaigns with data to grow online and marketing presence.
    • Stays current and knowledgeable of trends, strategy, and additional opportunities.
    • Creates and manages all aspects of photo/video content with programs team.
    • Creates marketing materials for all programs and new programs to increase sales, awareness and participation.

    Qualifications

    • Understanding social media communications in both the process level and technology of platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and Instagram.
    • Ability to identify the newest trends in fashion, design, art, music and social media required.
    • Ability to shoot high quality still photos and video content required.
    • Ability to analyze data appropriately.
    • Good writer and/or editor skills capable of directing the written materials.
    • Ability to work independently and within a team, to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
    • Ability to make decisions, exercising reasonable judgment and discretion with minimal guidance and/or supervision.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
    • Ability to travel as needed.

    Education and Experience:

    • BA/BS Required.
    • Experience using Photoshop and basic video editing required.
    • Social Media Portfolio for review with application required.
    • 2-4 years social media experience required.
