    The Summer QA Clerk is a temporary position that typically runs March- September. Training is provided- looking for motivated, detail- orientated individuals willing to learn state standards for auditing independent study public charter school student files.


    This position is based out of Irwindale and requires travel to the assigned district site. District sites in San Gabriel Valley, LA, and Santa Clarita Regions. Typical work schedule during the assignment is Monday- Friday to 8am to 5pm.  


    The Summer QA Clerk is responsible for inspection of student files for district summer school programs. Informs QA Junior Inspector of the status of student files. Assists Quality Assurance (QA) Dept. with file management. Tracks ratings on all files. Works with other QA Clerks to ensure consistency.


    Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:* 

    • Inspects student files. 
    • Prepares reports for QA Junior Inspector 
    • Data Entry into our student information system. 
    • Reviews/collects information for QA Junior Inspector.
    • Special Projects as requested. 

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- training provided to learn Quality Assurance processes & procedures:

    • Ability to interpret and apply company policies or provisions regarding Quality Assurance. 
    • Ability to communicate in a courteous and professional manner. 
    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines. 
    • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. 
    • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
    • Ability to exercise reasonable judgment and maintain confidentiality. 
    • Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. 
    • Responds to requests in a timely manner. 
    • Proficient in MS Office 
    • Proficiency with computers and quick learner of in-company policies and of student record and attendance system. 

    Education and Experience: 

    • High School Diploma required (BA/BS encouraged)   
    • Past experience in office environment with auditing responsibilities desired but not required


    Must be willing to travel and commute almost daily to different locations, valid California driver’s license. Must be able to lift at least 45 pounds. Must be able to provide a negative TB skin test (valid for 4 years) and be willing to fingerprint at a LiveScan location if an offer is extended.
